Allergic to nickel, but will my surgical steel belly button ring get infected?
i have a huge allergic reaction to nickel, i've gotten my ears pierced 6 times to prove this. I got my belly button pierced with surgical steel, obviously, because it is used for surgery purposes. my question is, will my belly button get infected from having a surgical steel ring in it? HELPP.
Probably not but if you are concerned, I would recommend getting a titanium ring just in case. It has the least chance of infection of all body jewelry. Get the piercer to change it has not been 4 weeks.
