Knife Handle Needs Grip... Any Suggestions?
I'm looking into getting another clip folding knife... One in particular is Gerber's EVO ( http://www.gerbergear.com/index.php/product/id/78 ). I like everything about the knife except for the fact that the aluminum handle has no non-slip material like G-10 or rubber coating/inlay. Has anyone modified a folding-knife handle and had great success?
I don't like using electrical tape... been there, done that, got the gooey residue.
Sand is not preferred... I think it would just rub my palms/fingers raw...
Plasti Dip? Truck-bed spray like Herculiner? Non-slip paint? I have no idea where to start...
some silicone around the handle can help.
